AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD

 

DO NOT USE A METAL SPOON!  -  DO NOT REFRIGERATE!

WARNING: Lid To Container May Pop Off, Do Not Be Alarmed!

 

 

Day 1:  Do Nothing

 

Day 2:  Stir With A Wooden Spoon

 

Day 3:  Stir With A Wooden Spoon

 

Day 4:  Stir With A Wooden Spoon

 

Day 5:  Add: 1 Cup Of Flour, 1 Cup Of Sugar and 1 Cup Of Milk, Stir With A wooden Spoon

 

Day 6:  Stir With A Wooden Spoon

 

Day 7:  Stir With A Wooden Spoon

 

Day 8:  Stir With A Wooden Spoon

 

Day 9:  Stir With A Wooden Spoon

 

Day 10:              Add: 1 Cup Of Flour, 1 Cup Of Sugar And 1 Cup Of Milk.  Stir And Pour Into Three 1          Cup Containers.  Give These To Your Friends.

 

After You Have Filled The Three Containers, Pour What Batter Is Left  Into A Large Bowl And Add The Following:

 

1 Cup Of Oil                                                                1 Teaspoon Of Cinnamon

2 Cups Of Flour                                                           1 Teaspoon Of Vanilla

1 Cup Of Sugar                                                                        ½ Teaspoon Of Salt

½ Cup Of Milk                                                                        ½ Teaspoon Of Baking Soda

3 Eggs                                                                          1 Cup Of Chopped Nuts

1½ Teaspoons Of Baking Powder                                1 Large Box Of Instant Vanilla Pudding

 

Mix With A Wooden Spoon

 

Pour Into 3 Small (8-½ X 4-½) Well Greased And Sugared Loaf Pans.  You Can Put Wax Paper In The Bottom Of The Pan, Grease The Paper Well And Sprinkle Sugar Over It To Keep From Sticking.  Sprinkle Sugar Over The Top Of The Batter.

 

Bake At 350°F For About 35 To 45 Minutes (Longer If Pans Are Deeper and Narrower Than Specified).  Insert A Toothpick To Check For Doneness.
